May Chamber Luncheon - State of the City

Join us for the Monthly Luncheon for the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, an excellent opportunity to meet and network with your fellow Chamber members!
 

• Luncheon Program Topics must be informational in nature and be of general interest to Chamber Members and community members who attend.  
• Luncheon Programming and Sponsors are determined in the fall of each year for the following calendar year. Sponsors are allotted 3-5 minutes to speak.
• A Luncheon Sponsorship is $350 and includes 4 Luncheon Tickets. The previous year sponsor has first right of refusal for the following year.
• The Monthly Luncheon cannot be a fundraising opportunity for organizations; however, requests for time to make an announcement during the Program will be considered at the discretion of the President.  Any request must be submitted in writing and discussed with the President at least one week prior to the Luncheon.
• The ability to hand out literature/promotional items on the luncheon tables is reserved EXCLUSIVELY for the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, the Luncheon Sponsor, and the Luncheon Presenter.  No other handouts, information, gift items or literature can be placed on the luncheon tables, and if any is found, the member will be asked to remove them.
• The Monthly Luncheon is a networking opportunity, so members may still hand out items personally to individuals at the luncheons for networking purposes.
• Exceptions to this policy we require approval from the full Board of Directors.

• Luncheons are held the 1st Wednesday of every month, except July and December.
• Hours are 11:15 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Members can register online through their Member Information Center (MIC) account page or under Events, Community/Chamber Calendar by accessing our website (www.bastropchamber.com), or by contacting the Chamber staff at (512) 303-0558 or info@bastropchamber.com.  
• Online registrations close on the Monday before the luncheon at 3 PM. After this time, registrations can be made until 3 PM on the Tuesday before the luncheon based upon availability by calling the Chamber office. 
• Members can also be added to the master registration list at the office to be pre-registered for each monthly luncheon. A valid credit card is required to be added to the master registration list. Your luncheon fee will be charged to your card 24 hours prior to the luncheon. If the member does not plan to attend and does not cancel their reservation before this time, the card will still be charged. It is the member’s responsibility to contact the Chamber if they cannot attend. There are no refunds of these ‘no notification’ charges.  
• There will be no registrations accepted the day of the luncheon, nor will there be any walk-ins allowed at the event.
• Cost is $12/reservation for members who pre-register, $20/reservation for future/nonmembers. Future/nonmember payments must be made at the time of registration. Unpaid member registrations not canceled 24 hours in advance of luncheon will be charged the ‘No-Show’ fee of $15.00 and invoiced. Online payments can be made by credit card (MC, Visa, Discover, AMEX). Only cash or check is accepted at the luncheon. 
• Members in good standing can request to be invoiced while checking in at the event. 
• If a member has an outstanding balance on a past luncheon that is more than 45 days past due, that member may no longer request to be billed and must pay the entire balance of their luncheon fees in full before registrations can be accepted again.
