Bastrop County MLK Holiday Commission Walk

The annual Bastrop County Martin Luther King Holiday Commission Walk is in Bastrop this year. The walk begins at the Bastrop County Courthouse at 803 Pine Street and ends at the Bastrop Convention Center. Guest Speaker will be University of Texas National Football Champion Quarterback Vince Young. Elected officials from throughout Bastrop County will be on hand for the celebration as well as students from Bastrop, Elgin, Smithville, Cedar Creek and McDade schools. Community choirs and youth will round out the program. A reception will follow the event.
