Bastrop County Historical Society Winter Quarterly Meeting

Our speaker, historian David W. Moore, Jr., will discuss his recently prepared study for the Texas Department of Transportation that describes how to document and assess agricultural properties in Central Texas. The report identifies repositories that contain materials describing the history of agriculture in the region, historic maps that depict cultural landscape features associated with agricultural activities, and type of resources and patterns of development that provide a tangible link to the past.
