13th Annual Red, White and Blue Banquet to Honor Veterans

Tickets are going fast for the 2016 Red, White & Blue Banquet honoring veterans set for November 12, 2016 at the Bastrop Convention &Exhibition Center. This years’ banquet will recognize Vietnam veterans in conjunction with the National 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Commemoration, http://www.vietnamwar50th.com/ including a special presentation of a 50th Anniversary lapel pin to each Vietnam era veteran in attendance. Colonel Albert J. Nahas, US Army, Retired, Vietna...m veteran and author of the book Warriors Remembered, the only photo documentary of 100 Vietnam veteran memorials from all 50 states will be the guest speaker. There will be a large display of vehicles, equipment, uniforms and many other historic items as well as the Bastrop County Veterans Service Office with the latest information on how veterans and their families can apply for benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs and you can’t miss the amazing items at the silent auction. Tickets range from $15 each for veterans, spouses and surviving spouses to $30 for non-veterans. Sponsorships are also available ranging from $100 to $1200 for organizations and individuals.
