DESCRIPTION:This week's recipient is LAB C Food Kitchen located at 107 Childers Drive\, Suite 100.(11:00 am this week).\n\n\n\nThe person that nominated them said\, "This family owned and operated restaurant has been so kind\, as to provide free meals to anyone who needs one!  Times are hard right now for a lot of people and I know this has been a huge blessing to them.  This is the kind of community kindness that we should celebrate!"\n\n\n\nWe agree!  LAB C Food Kitchen has a big heart.  So that's our theme this week - everything hearts!\n\n\n\nReminder:  We are double booked this week due to the Ribbon Cutting for Sugar Shack's 25th anniversay (arrive at 10:15 am) for the Ribbon Cutting at 10:30.  We will leave Sugar Shack and hopefully be at LAB C Food Kitchen by 11:00 am for their "We're in this together" recognition.  We hope you can attend both events!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOne nominee is chosen by a panel each week beginning the week of August 3 and will continue into the Fall giving us something great to look forward to in this time of social distancing. The weekly winner will be recognized with a surprise visit made of Chamber members\, Ambassadors\, and Community Partners.\n\n \n\nEach surprise visit will be individualized to the recipient to be meaningful and specific ? so no two events will be the same. We will also be looking to partner with other Chamber members to make these events spectacular. So be on the lookout for our request for assistance! Some of the things we could ask for include\, snacks\, beverages\, swag\, and entertainment. But mainly attendance and participation!\n\n \n\nLastly\, each event will be held outdoors with appropriate social distancing and masks to ensure everyone?s safety. We hope you will join us in recognizing some very deserving businesses that make Bastrop and Bastrop County special!
