DESCRIPTION:The Bastrop County Museum will be opening its new exhibit Stitched alongside February's First Friday festivities. This event will be the ideal way for people to see the quilts first-hand. Our Collections Manager will be available to give insights and answer questions. We have invited all the area's quilting groups to attend\, which will add even more knowledge and expertise to the event. There will also be a unique photo backdrop to take pictures with family and friends. The event is free and open to the public. There will also be the launch of a raffle for a beautiful donated antique quilt! People can buy raffle tickets for $5 each or 5 for $15 on the museum website or in person. The winner will be announced at the closing of the exhibit on March 29.
