DESCRIPTION:The Lost Pines Garden Club provides information on the opportunities and challenges of gardening in the Bastrop County area.  The program for our Lost Pines Garden Club meeting on Tuesday March 12 will be "Wildlife Support and TX Ag 1-d-1 for Wildlife".\n\nThe meeting program will describe some ways to encourage desirable wildlife (birds\, etc.) in our backyards and in rural areas including farms/ranches.  This will summarize some ways to support wildlife with their essential elements of "food\, water\, shelter\, and safe environments for raising their young".    The program will include some information on the Texas Ag 1-d-1 program which includes support of wildlife.  This program will be by Norman Jones.  \n\nWe will also discuss our upcoming plant sale\, silent auction\, and quilt raffle to support the Bastrop Library Summer Children's program.\n\nOur club meeting starts at 6:30 pm at the Bastrop Public Library with snacks and socialization\, club business starting at 7:00 pm followed by the program.  The meeting is open to the public at no charge.
