DESCRIPTION:The Garden Club program will be "Landscaping and Trees - How do they Coincide?"  by Jason Alfaro\, who is the Bastrop City Parks and Recreation Superintendent.    This program will discuss the types of trees that are best suited for the Bastrop area (species\, small/medium/large size trees).  He will also describe good planting/mulching practices and pruning practices. He will also describe what the City of Bastrop is doing for our city's trees.    The program will be at the Bastrop Public Library starting at 6:30 pm with snacks/socialization\, short business meeting and the program until 8:00 pm.  The meeting is open to the public.
