DESCRIPTION:This summer\, the Lost Pines Art Center is offering kids art workshops taught by artist and art teacher\, Louise Placek\, on June 18th-June 20th for two age levels: ages 5-8 and ages 9-12. Kids can sign up for one day\, or get a discount for all three! $30/day or $75 for all three. All supplies included.\n\n\n\nThe first day will be all about Monoprinting\; a versatile and fun art form\, allowing kids to transfer their own drawn image from a gelatin to paper\, ready to take home. The second and third days will cover different approaches to creating Mixed Media art works. Students will learn that almost anything\, including everyday items and components from nature\, can be incorporated into paintings and drawings to make a unique piece of art that is truly their own.
