DESCRIPTION:BUILDING BASTROP: AN INTRODUCTION TO DOWNTOWN'S DNA\n\n \n\nCity of Bastrop to debut DNA Report at second community open house\n\n \n\nThe City of Bastrop is rewriting is land-use regulations and we need your help. Building Bastrop is a comprehensive approach to development\, an opportunity to define our way of life for generations to come. By mapping the DNA of our City\, analyzing our natural geography and the various land-use patterns already in play\, we'll create a new set of tools that will preserve authentic Bastrop and promote fiscally sustainable development that we know works.\n\n \n\nThe DNA of Bastrop was extracted through an in-depth analysis as part of the recent Building Bastrop initiative. At this open house\, Simplecity Design will present their initial findings\, unfolding the authentic character of Downtown Bastrop to begin the conversation of how we can use the information gathered to inform the future growth of our city. There will be an opportunity for questions following the presentation. Bring the family and invite your neighbors and friends. \n\n\n\nCan't make it the open house?
