DESCRIPTION:We are SO BUMMED that summer is ending\, The Parks & Recreation Department is throwing a BIG BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH! Bastrop's Bummer Bummer End-of-Summer Benefit will be featuring the band: Son De Rey\, hosting the Take-A-Toss at Your Boss Dunk Tank Fundraiser\, and delicious local food. The Parks & Recreation Department will also have a bounce house (donations are accepted) and KNOCKERBALL. For KNOCKERBALL\, all players 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All participants will be required to sign a waiver before playing the game. There will be a small flat fee of $5 to play KNOCKERBALL and each paid participant will receive a wristband The event will be held Saturday\, August 27th at Fisherman's Park starting at 5:00pm. Fisherman's Park is located at 1200 Willow Street.\n\n \n\nYour local city officials/leaders have teamed up for a community-wide fundraiser. For a small fee of $5.00 take-a-toss at your boss! All proceeds will go back to the Bastrop Community. Dance the night away to the tunes of Son De Rey\, a popular central-Texas cover band\, or just enjoy the great company & scenery. Through this event we aim to strengthen community relations\, promote outdoor play\, and unity. \n\n \n\nLet's come together and celebrate the start of the new school year!
