DESCRIPTION:The Walk will begin at Veteran's Memorial Park on Depot and Main Street in Elgin and continue down Main Street to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church for the first stop and continue across the tracks to Greater Mt. Vernon Zion AME Church and then over to Madison Street to the Booker T. Washington marker. The walk will continue up MLK to Booker T. Washington Elementary at 510 MLK Blvd. for the main program.
