SUMMARY:A Joyous Christmas
DESCRIPTION:Dear Bastrop County Citizens:\n\n \n\nFor those who celebrate the holiday\, the Christmas season is a wonderfully inspiring time of year. Several area churches have joined together to plan a program that we hope will bring joy to the hearts of people in Bastrop and surrounding communities. We need your help.\n\n \n\nBastrop County continues to work its way back from an extended period of disasters and recoveries. We have seen the strength and resiliency of families\, businesses\, churches and communities that have pulled together to rebuild and help wherever help was needed.\n\n \n\nA Joyous Christmas program will be an evening of music that will inspire hearts\, bring hope and joy to everyone and remind all of us that there is beauty and peace in this world. The program has been set for December 17\, 2016 at 6:30 PM and will be held at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for the Performing Arts. It will include music from area church choirs\, soloists and other musical instrumentals\, including a bell choir. These choirs will bring a message in songs that will be uplifting to all.\n\n \n\nWe are requesting an offering of love from all who attend this event. We will gladly accept donations from businesses\, organizations\, individuals and others in the community.  All funds raised for this event will benefit the work of the Bastrop County Long Term Recovery Team. The BCLTR continues to work with individuals and families that have been affected by a series of disasters in Bastrop County. We hope the proceeds will help with these needs.\n\n \n\nWe hope that you will consider making a generous donation to this wonderful program and help us reach people with the joy of the Christmas Season.
