SUMMARY:16th Annual Red\, White & Blue Veterans Appreciation Banquet
DESCRIPTION:There were over 500 attendees at last year's 15th Annual Red\, White & Blue Veterans Banquet held on November 10th and through their participation\, buying raffle tickets and donations we were able to raise $7\,000 which has been distributed back through veterans' service organizations within the county to be used through their benevolent funds to help veterans and their families. Some of the funds were also donated to the Bastrop County Veterans Honor Guard and the Bastrop and Elgin High School NJROTC to support their programs. The Red\, White & Blue Veterans of Bastrop County is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization and gladly accepts donations throughout the year.
