LOST PINES ART CENTER INVITES EMERGING WRITERS
On February 15, 22 and March 1 the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop will hold a three-part writing course entitled, “You Should Write a Book!” Classes will begin at 1:30 pm and run until 3 pm. Author Carolyn Banks will teach the course, which will enable students to complete a short story or a section of a novel or memoir. Carolyn Banks has written ten novels and many short stories. Her latest novel is a farce entitled “The Importance of Being Erica,” featuring the long-dead British wit, Oscar Wilde, as a character. Students should bring a laptop or a notebook because there will be in-class writing as well as discussion.
